The inaugural Dulwich Pavilion was on display in summer 2017 during the London Festival of Architecture (LFA). It was designed by IF_DO after an architectural competition that asked entrants to respond to the Dulwich Picture Gallery's iconic building designed by Sir John Soane and the garden in which the pavilion sat.

The second iteration asked the same of the more than 150 young practices that entered the competition. A jury of six selected the six shortlisted schemes, which are shown below and are on display at the Dulwich Picture Gallery coinciding with the LFA. Visitors can vote for their favorites throughout June, after which the public vote will be combined with the jury's input to select the winning design.
