Oliverio Najmias. Buenos Aires, Argentina 1975. Graduated architect at FADU, UBA -best 3% of his class -in 2000-

Partner at najmias | arquitectos since 2001. In 2007 he establishes his own practice, Najmias Office for Architecture and in 2009 co-founds ONE Change [Office for Natural Emergencies]

He has a fascination for sustainable processes and in his practice [NOA] he aims to generate innovative tailor made urban and architectural solutions.



ACADEMIC PROFILE

Since 2010 he has been Associate Professor [Profesor Adjunto Interino] at the UBA at Studio Design. He has also taught at the University of Buenos Aires in the following studios: Theory, Design and History; and at the University Torcuato Di Tella at the Postgraduate School. He has been a Guest Professor at the University of Talca [Chile] and at the University of Johannesburg [South Africa].



PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

In his career he had collaborated in competitions with different local practices with whom he obtained prizes and mentions, both nationally and internationally; he also collaborated with the Dutch office MVRDV.

The projects designed from his award winning practice have been published around the world, and his office have been invited to take part in numerous national and international exhibitions.

His offices had been sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Argentine Government and by the Secretary of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires.
