The fashionable streets where Ashiya-city was brought by modernism culture between Osaka and Kobe is located in the middle but different from both cities mostly up are embraced. It's the area where I place many restrictions to construction "Okuike" is developed as the vacation home area in the inside of commutable area in halfway in RoyuLine made along Ashiya river, and for green to preserve excellent residential environment for an abundant view.
A site was located along a reservoir and was a pinery which faces the road in north and south and others. The special quality this land which could be felt has went to the site and so it was "the wonderful environment circled by greens" and "the site long in north and south", and it was a concept with a design how to utilize these.
I made setting back along a building from the road, and each room was arranged while giving room to streets by arranging as well as considering the aspect of house which is request from a client.
To secure getting away of northern and southern way, all except for LDK was gathered in 3 boxes and it was placed on parallel. And the space born between the box was made overall LDK space. The natural environment the big roof which spans there is to support with only 12 pillars and structure braces, and which makes it 360 deg of opening, and is the neighborhood, we assumed that it was possible to wrestle. A residence hand takes "natural abundance" which will be gabions which equal approach, walls of the larch which continues to an interior from an outer wall, walls of the Aji stone which exists symbolically and the flames at which I peep through a fireplace, etc. later in construction, and it's to feel that daily, and I think maybe it was possible to make the aim which has decided to choose this land and keep a new residence (I live with nature.)
Though I feel a natural change in this dwelling space where I dissolve in the environment of the entourage and pause quietly, I wish that the family who lives is living abundantly and happily.
