On 17 September 2014, in the presence of the Local Authorities, the financial group REALSTONE SA and the general service company HRS, Azur Residence designed by GROUPE H officially opened for EPFL students.

Designed as two separate buildings, the Residence has a total of 186 studios, 300m2 of commercial space, and an underground car park.

REALSTONE and HRS offered GROUPE H the freedom to design a building combining the best level of comfort for students with a living space for two people, a generous kitchen area and, of course, a high-quality bathroom.

The bathroom areas are quite unique. They were pre-fabricated in Spain and assembled as a fully-fitted single block. This choice enabled significant savings in construction costs which freed up money to be invested in an improvement of quality of materials and aesthetics in general.

As with all buildings designed by GROUPE H, Azur Residence holds the Minergie classification.

The compact nature of the building and simple aesthetics of the façades result in an overall coherent image of the building, expressing its function as well as a solid identity along the local road, and being a direct extension of the CHAMPAGNY ONE administrative building.
